Since 2007, Shigenobu Okitsu is President and Representative Director of Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute Co., Ltd.
Formerly, he was senior corporate auditor of NIPPON YAKIN KOGYO Co., Ltd.
He started his career in The Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. and he was appointed as deputy chief manager at Nagoya branch, and chief manager for credit research department at metropolitan area. Also in Suzuki Metal Industry Co., Ltd., he was general manager for operational control as managing director, and after that, was senior managing director.
He holds Bachelor in economics at Tohoku University.

Kazuyuki Takeuchi
Kazuyuki Takeuchi is Director of Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute Co., Ltd. since 2006.
He holds M.A. at Gifu Pharmaceutical University and Ph.D. of pharmacology in Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo. He was appointed as general manager of clinical development in Amano Enzyme Inc., and as a general manager of Department of clinical development in Medtronic Sofamor Danek, Co., Ltd.
Kazuhisa Sekimizu
Kazuhisa Sekimizu is Director of Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute Co., Ltd. since 2003.
He holds Ph.D. of pharmacology in Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo.
Now he doubles as a professor of Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo.

Tetsuro Toriumi is Auditor of Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute Co., Ltd. since 2003.

Nobukazu Sekimizu
Nobukazu Sekimizu is Entrepreneur of Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute Co., Ltd. and certified public tax accountant (CPTA).
He founded Genome Pharmaceuticals Institute as limited company in 2000. He is accorded the honor of “SFC Entrepreneur Award 2005 (http://siv.kiep.ne.jp/sea2005/entry.html)” from Keio University for his contribution.
He started his career in Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and he was appointed as Business Department general manager. Also in Mochida Corporation, he was Legal Department general manager.
He holds Bachelor of Commerce at Keio University, received his master's degree in Management and Information Sciences at Tama University, and received his master’s degree (LLM) and acquired credits in doctoral course at Graduate school of Law, Chuo University. and credits in MOT course in Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, and required credits in Policy Studies in Graduate School of Chiba University of Commerce.Ph.D.(Policy Studies)
